The Garner Grady’s First Journal Entry… a quick update.

Well, Amy and I wanted to keep a journal of the happenings with the boys. We thought this might be a nice way of doing it so we thought we’d give it a try. I know that a lot of people stop by the website to see pictures of the boys growing up, so we thought we’d write about things they are doing as well. In addition, we are going to write things about ourselves to let family and friends around the world know what’s going on with us as well.
To start the ball rolling let me just report on things that are happening now in the Garner Grady’s household.

I am currently still doing the web thing with my company Mage Web Development. Our office is on NC State’s Centennial Campus and is a part of the Technology Incubator. The name Mage comes from a combination of all the partner’s names. So, I’m the ‘A’ in Mage. Anyway… business is good and I love working on campus.

Amy is currently a manager at Jimmy V’s Steakhouse. I say currently because she has just enrolled back into school and is going to become a nurse. I’ll let her fill in more of the blanks with her journal entries. I think she’s going to look great in those nurse outfits.

Josh is now 2 years old. Man, is he ever a handful. He is into Everything, but he is so much fun. He makes Amy and I laugh constantly. This has posed a problem a time or two when we were trying to discipline him. We’ve had to turn our head or cover our smiles on more than one occasion.

Nate is 4 1/2 months old and he is a trip. He likes to be held a lot more than Josh did. If he isn’t in the middle of what’s going on, he will scream ’till you think you are going to go mad. Just put him in his bouncy seat and pull him in the kitchen, office, or where ever you are and he’s perfect. He smiles non-stop (well, so long as he’s not left out of the action). He is growing up so fast. He currently has a bad cold, but he’s smiling through it.

Well, I think that is a good first journal entry. We’ll be making specific journal entries for each boy… if we get some time. …HA…
